Maybe I don't wanna spent 60 dollars on things like Magazines and afew extra web pages. Maybe, I want to save it. Put it towards something alittle more USEFUL.

Like what? Cadet equipment? A Nazi helmet? A map of Germany? Useful is highly subjective.

Cadets can actually benefit a person. Just because your not in it, don't think you know everything about it. Fuck.

For your information, You don't pay to join Cadets, or fro the uniform, or anything really. You only pay for things like trips to amusement parks, or something else that's fun. Anything you pay for, you would probaly pay fro anyway even if you weren't in cadets. But, without the cadets, probaly a shit load more. Cadets dosen't drain money from your pockets. It can actually help you get money. Like me, at camp getting 60 dollars a week. More than you.

For your information, you only pay to join the fan club, and then you get access to a whole bunch of cool stuff. You can get exclusive online content, and a bunch of cool stuff offline. You'd have to pay for all of this stuff if you weren't in the fan club. Star Wars doesn't drain money from your pockets. It can actually help you become an evil mastermind. Like William, getting at least 60 plots a week; that's more than you.

Zennithan, stuff you learn at Cadet camp and throught the program will help you for years. They teach you how to be a leader, and useful things like survival and discipline.
Even though the SW fan clud might get you afew cool things, how will it help you if your out lost in the woods some day? Will it look good on a Resume?
well? will it? Don't diss the Cadets, Cadets might just be one of the best things that ever happened to you, if you'd get up off your ass to try it.

Did you completely ignore the last paragraph of my previous post? What the hell? I wasn't aware that this was "read what you want to, and ignore everything else". Now, since you feel inclined to flame me senselessly, I will return the favour and then some.

Your "situations" in which Cadet training will be useful are highly subjective. Of course it would be handy when you're lost in the woods. So would Boy Scout training, or HAVING A COMPASS. As for putting Star Wars on a résumé, it really depends on where you want to work. For example, tech support or a gaming store will likely choose you just for the "cool factor". Oh, and it might help to be able to use proper spelling and grammar before you talk to me about writing résumés. Star Wars also holds a massive online community where they discuss things like the physics of Star Wars. This has helped him in Physics, with knowledge such as the speed of light and the properties of a black hole.

Sassoon, I'm not about to go and try something which serves as a gateway to our armed forces. I don't support the "harvesting" of our youth in such a program such to benefit our increasingly-decrepit army. Naturally, you'd support it. Your life seems to revolve around the army and war. No wonder there isn't any peace on our planet. I chose to follow the pursuit of knowledge, Sassoon. I don't dislike Cadets because of the skills they teach you. Note that I have not used the word hate; the program doesn't do enough to earn hatred. I dislike Cadets because of their connection to the army. Yes, it is true that they are not a division of the army. I know this, Sassoon, and have said nothing to the contrary. Don't get so worked up about a misconception. I said it was a gateway to the military, a way to brainwash teenagers into thinking that the army is fun and games. It is essentially a recruiting method on which our government wastes money which could be better used on improving healthcare or education. Hell, we need it.

Also, I'm pretty sure I can do more than criticize. Criticizing obviously isn't my only skill, and the fact that you can't realize that disturbs me. I find your pitiful train of thought disturbing. Do you insult me because I don't agree with you? Can't you stand the fact that someone believes Cadets isn't the one thing we should live for?

Yes, I over-reacted. I said things that make be offensive to you, and I'm sorry Zenithan. I didn't mean to lose my temper like that, and I really don't want to, ever again.

However, I don't agree with you. Cadets is a program. It's for people who are interested in considering the Military as a career. Not conscription. No, Cadets isn't like that I know for a fact.

And perhaps a person can benefit from the SW fan club. But, being only my opinion, I do think Cadets is more benefitial.

If I'm really slipping from the group, well, I must say it really dosen't seem like it. Yes, I know I'm not around as much as I used to like in Grades 7-9, but, well, no offence, but I have a reason to miss a lunch time conversation.

Your all my friends, I didn't think I had to go see you every single lunch just to talk to you about a video game or something. I may not be around you all as often as I could be, but I still go to you all when I need advice or something. Like remember Zenithan on how after I asked Dena out and after I called matt, I called you and we had that 3-hour long conversation? That to me, is what friends do. They help each other.
