Yup, I know that I'm going to be told off but personnaly Ventrilo is the far suppierior VOIP program. TS2 Client takes up 12mb of ram, but the Ventrilo client takes up a mere 6mb. Also Ventrilo has higher codecs that make it easier to understand people and also makes the whole expierence better. I already know that most of the people here save Icmoigigan are TS2 fanboys but it's really a matter of opinion. And if one of you even says the word TS3 I will beat u senseless with Vent2.

I thought I'd already explained to you that I am not a TS2 fanboy. I go with whatever lets me communicate with my friends. Oh, by the way, TeamSpeak seems to be using 2 MB of RAM when minimized and 3 MB when maximized... as well as 0% of the CPU. When someone is speaking, this only boosts by a small amount. Even if someone had a CPU with 64 MB of RAM, I don't think this would be much of an issue; it is using less RAM than most other processes on my computer.

I also have no trouble understanding people unless my game volume is above my TS2 volume. And I mean never. Oh, and here I go: TS3 will also consume even LESS RAM and CPU, as well as implementing these "higher codecs" that make Ventrilo so superior.

Also, isn't Ventrilo at version 2.3.0? Doesn't this mean it is already Ventrilo 2?

Anyway, I voted "Other" because I really don't give a damn about this stupid superiority complex you have going on with Brook when TeamSpeak serves our needs perfectly well and then some.

Raining on your parade,
High Lord Zenithan

Nice. But dude if Vent1 is better than TS2 then that's pretty sad.

I did ask whether or not Ventrilo was already Vent2 because it is at version 2.3.0. Plus, it depends on how old each of the programs are. Since I haven't used Ventrilo, I can't say which one has more features or which one I like better, anyway.

Yeah, Geoff. I'm getting the same usages: 2MB when it's minimized and 3MB when maxed, and 0% usage. It doesn't slow anything down, and if you like another program over TS because it is "technically superior" and you like to diss others for disagreeing, all you're really doing is just looking for a fight, Brook and you.
