I know. I used to wonder what gave Anime such a bad name, and then I realized...

Well, that's mildly funny at best, maybe I should phone it in to TBS, lol.

The new mature anime appearing this fall on YTV:

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, a series based on the movie "Ghost in the Shell." Icmoigigan, the Russian song "Inner Universe" you have is from this series, though "Rise" is the follow-up series. The series receives its subtitle from a theoretical mental complex attributed to the adaptation of cybernetics into the mass public. It also refers to the structure of each episode: Each episode can be viewed independently of each other, and there is little catch-up (if at all) given in each episode to keep the viewer up to date (unlike many anime series). The individual episodes are discretely marked 'Complex' or 'A standalone episode' in the title screen. The 'complex' episodes are more closely entwined with the encompassing plot, and the 'standalone' less so.

Is that the only new show reported?

I take it that is the GS replacement? I have heard good things about that show though, I just hope it can live up to its name.

Well, that gathering was quite enjoyable despite the inherent insanity of that particular anime. If you two are up to it, I could arrange another one of those in future with Wolf's Rain (30 episodes), which I have downloading in dual-audio at the moment.

Sounds grood on my end, this motel seems to have high speed, lol. Anyway since my internat connection for this period will be unkbown my activity on various things may be eratic.

I loved the movie, but have not yet seen the show.

No, Wolf's Rain isn't fucked up. Thankfully. The entire thing is far more serious, unlike Elfen Lied, where the pattern is "trauma-playful-trauma-trauma-trauma-playful" or something of the sort. Wolf's Rain is quite depressing, though.

Wolf's Rain is amazing. I downloaded the entire series and put it on several DVDs.

I'm 98.5% done downloading it again at the moment. Then I'll put it on several DVDs and force Icmoigigan and Element to watch it.
